The Hyatt has two onsite restaurants, one of which offers dining overlooking the gulf, while the poolside bar and grill serves lighter fare and fantastic frozen drinks. In the heart of Old Town Key West, the property is within walking distance of shops and attractions and is just one block from Duval Street. The renovations will take approximately six weeks. The guest rooms are beautifully decorated and well appointed. All other facilities are accessible at the resort. There will be no direct access to the ocean or watersports activities at the resort during this time. The resort itself offers its guests plenty to do, whether they are there for an active vacation, or just there to relax. The resort also rents scooters and bicycles, for those who want to explore the surrounding area. Hyatt Key West Resort will commence dock renovations to the hotel's marina on July 26, 2004. The Hyatt Key West Resort is a year-round resort and marina situated on the Gulf of Mexico. Each room features a host of great amenities and comforts, as well as its own balcony. The Hyatt Key West Resort is convenient to fine dining, attractions and entertainment venues. The resort has a small beach area, and various watersports - wave running, parasailing, diving, fishing and sailing are offered on the property. The hotel will provide convenient access to the adjacent Simonton Beach Park swimming area from the property during the dock renovation.
